Bioteke has developed the COVID-19 antigen test cassette for rapid detection.

The COVID-19 antigen rapid test cassette as a 1-pack is a chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of covid-19 antigen in nasal swabs to aid in the diagnosis of covid-19 virus infection.

In this assay, an anti-SARS-CoV-2-N antibody is immobilized in the test zone of the membrane. After a swab specimen is placed in the sample window, it reacts with anti-SARS-CoV-2-N antibody coated particles located on the sample pad. Rapid tests are individually packaged, making them ideal for rapid use. The special features are easy sample collection, easy to read and clearly displayed results and the result is available even after 15-20 minutes.

Positive: two lines appear. One line should always appear in the control line area (C) and another visible colored line should appear in the test line area.

*NOTE: The color intensity in the test line areas may vary depending on the concentration of COVID-19 antibody present in the specimen. Therefore, any hue in the test line region should be considered positive.

Negative: A colored line appears in the control area (C). No visible colored line appears in the test line area.

Invalid: Control line is not displayed. Insufficient sample volume or incorrect procedure technique are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Check the procedure and repeat the test with a new test device.
